Harrington Fellows Program, one of the most well-endowed visiting scholar and graduate fellow programs in the nation, and the most prestigious fellowship program at The University of Texas at Austin, is beginning its ninth year with a new group of 12 outstanding scholars.

| Aug. 26 | Terry Quinn Becomes Director of Institute for Geophysics Terry Quinn, associate director of the Institute for Geophysics at The University of Texas at Austin, has been named director of the institute. Quinn was interim director during the national search for a director this past year.
