Canceled: Honduran Ambassador to the U.N. Will Not be Visiting Austin

AUSTIN, Texas — Honduran ambassador to the United Nations Jorge Reina has canceled his scheduled trip to Austin.

He will not be meeting with members of the local Honduran community Sunday, Oct. 18 or appearing at a University of Texas at Austin forum Monday. Oct. 19.

The events will be held as scheduled and will feature other renowned experts on Honduras. For more information, please visit the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies Web site.

Excellent. I am very pleased his acidic Chavez-promoted socialist propaganda will not stain the sacred soil of Texas where so many gave their lives in the defense of liberty. Bravo!
