ConocoPhillips CEO James Mulva to Address Energy Forum

Event: The University of Texas at Austin Energy Forum is a student-initiated two-day conference that brings together a cross-section of the university's faculty, students and staff alongside industry, government and NGO partners. The event will showcase the university's energy expertise and bring together academic and professional leaders to address energy issues and foster new venture formation.
Four keynote speakers, including ConocoPhillips CEO James Mulva, will be highlights in an agenda that also includes eight panel discussions with researchers and industry professionals, an academic research poster fair and a series of seven-minute TED™-style talks where the presenter has a short time frame to communicate a big idea, often with strong visuals.
The keynote speakers are Mulva, chairman and CEO of ConocoPhillips; Michael Webber, assistant professor of engineering at the university; Arun Majumdar, director of the Department of Energy's ARPA-E program; and Arun Banskota, president of NRG Electric Vehicle Services.
When: Thursday, Feb. 3, 11 a.m.- 8 p.m.; Friday, Feb. 4, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
