Hispanic Leadership Summit: Hispanic Vote 2012 – Understanding Our Strength

EVENT:  The McCombs School of Business Hispanic Leadership Initiative’s 4th Annual Hispanic Leadership Summit, Hispanic Vote 2012: Understanding Our Strength, will focus on the role of the Latino vote in the 2012 election. U.S. Congressman Charles Gonzales will keynote the event.

WHEN:  Thursday, Sept.  27, 2012

BACKGROUND: Hispanics are the largest and fastest-growing minority group in the United States, comprising 6.9 percent of the electorate. This conference will explore this changing demographic and its potential affect on the 2012 presidential election, as well as the issues most important to the Latino community.
