A new ranking published by the Center for Research in Economic Commerce (CREC) at The University of Texas at Austin publicly exposes organizations that are major havens for Internet spam. Researchers with the project hope negative publicity will encourage these organizations to tighten their computer security, thus reducing the risk of data theft and other compromises.
