Admissions Applications Rise 35 Percent at Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs

The Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin saw a 35 percent jump in applications for fall 2009 entry into its master's degree programs compared with fall 2008, the school announced today. For fall 2009, only 130 slots are available for new students.

Chang and Inman Appointed to Congressional Commission on Cyber Security

Dr. Fred Chang, research professor of computer sciences at The University of Texas at Austin, and Admiral Bobby Inman, the Lyndon B. Johnson Centennial Chair in National Policy at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, have been appointed to the new Commission on Cyber Security, established to make sure that the next president of the United States has an updated strategy to counter growing cyber threats.
