University’s Mexican Center Earns Grant to Improve Economic Development in Mexico

The Mexican Center of the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies (LLILAS) at The University of Texas at Austin, the University of Veracruz (UV) and the Intercultural University of Veracruz (UVI) have received a three-year, $250,000 grant to provide innovative information technology to rural farmers in Veracruz, Mexico.

Gift for William H. Crook Chair in International Affairs Will Fund Research on Economic Development

A gift from Mrs. Eleanor Crook to the Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law at The University of Texas at Austin will create an endowed chair dedicated to promoting global economic development and fighting poverty.
