Former Washington Post Editor R.B. Brenner Named University of Texas at Austin School of Journalism Director
R.B. Brenner, an award-winning former editor at The Washington Post, has been named the new director of the School of Journalism at The University of Texas at Austin Moody College of Communication.

Six people will be recognized by the College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin with the Robert C. Jeffrey Benefactor Award for their contributions of time, talent and philanthropy.
Lorraine Branham, director of the School of Journalism and the G.B. Dealey Regents Professor at The University of Texas at Austin since 2002, has been named dean of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, effective July 1. The appointment was announced today by Syracuse University Vice Chancellor and Provost Eric F. Spina.
