Blanton Exhibition Sheds Light on Art and Lives of Artists Eva Hesse and Sol LeWitt

“Converging Lines: Eva Hesse and Sol LeWitt,” which opens at the Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin on Feb. 23, celebrates the close friendship between two of the most significant American artists of the postwar era: Eva Hesse (1936–1970) and Sol LeWitt (1928–2007).

The concrete block structure "Circle with Towers" by Sol LeWitt (1928-2007) has been purchased by Landmarks, the public art program of The University of Texas at Austin, from the Madison Square Park Conservancy in New York.
