NBA Great Bill Bradley to Speak at Basketball and American Culture Symposium

NBA Hall of Famer, Rhodes scholar and former U.S. Sen. Bill Bradley will be the keynote speaker at The University of Texas at Austin’s Basketball and American Culture Symposium, sponsored by the H. J. Lutcher Stark Center for Physical Culture and Sports. In a talk titled “Values of the Game,” Bradley will discuss his basketball career while at Princeton University and in the NBA.

Lutcher Stark Center for Physical Culture and Sports, has announced the opening of its Joe and Betty Weider Museum of Physical Culture, featuring an inaugural exhibition of around 700 photos from the center’s holdings.

Lutcher Stark Center for Physical Culture and Sports at The University of Texas at Austin, has received a $1 million gift from physical fitness icons Joe and Betty Weider, along with their pledge to donate around 25 unique paintings and sculptures from their personal collection.
