ABSTRACT: Large-scale surveys have been conducted to study the prevalence and characteristics of sexual assault victimization in the United States, but there seems to be no studies of the extent and characteristics of sexual assault perpetration based on responses from a nationally representative sample of men. This talk reports on three pilot studies conducted to test ways of obtaining information from men about their sexual assault perpetration behaviors using telephone and web-based strategies, the issues involved, and the results obtained.
