ABSTRACT: This colloquium will provide participants with updated information of changes in policy and law related to Texas Medicaid and CHIP. This will include updates on developments related to Texas' recent moves to privatize a substantial portion of its eligibility systems for Medicaid and CHIP. A discussion of the implications of recent policy developments for the support of, or to the detriment of health promotion goals will be incorporated.
