Each week CDC analyzes information about influenza disease activity in the United States and publishes findings of key flu indicators in a report called FluView.
This algorithm is designed to assist physicians and those under their supervision in identifying indicators of and responses to symptoms of flu-like illness (i.e., fever with cough or sore throat).
