Biography

Mary Ann Dale, MSN, RN, PMHCNS-BC completed both her undergraduate and graduate education at The University of Texas School of Nursing. She is board certified as an advanced practice nurse with a CNS in adult psychiatric mental health and prescriptive authority. Mary Ann has held many positions in psychiatry including education, administration, ECT management and private practice. She is a co-founder of the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of Austin and is the current president. Along with teaching she currently does legal consulting for cases involving psychiatric care in nursing and advanced practice situations.
