BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York. I have four brothers. I have a wonderful husband, Larry Davis and two grown children, Jonathan and Rebecca. I have a first great-neice, Madison Rose born March 23, 2004. I have a second great-niece Kaitlyn Marie Albanese born July, 2007. My first great nephew Greydan Matthew Bruckner was born in April 2008. As of August 31, 2008, I have a very kind and caring new son-in law, Sean Waters. Sean and Becca will be moving back to Austin in time for Christmas 2008.

I graduated from Duchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. in 1980 with an Associate in Applied Science in Nursing (AAS). I worked full-time as a staff nurse in the hospital while I obtained my RN-BSN from UT Austin(1996) and a Masters in Nursing Sytems (2000). I have been certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center(ANCC)in Medical Surgical nursing since 1992. I am just completing the four courses necessary for Advanced Practice Nurse status from the Board of Nurse Examiners (BON).

In my spare time, I exercise and care for my 85 year old mother diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. One of my favorite vacations is visiting the ocean to swim, exercise, collect shells and to spend quality time with my four brothers and their families.
