BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Hendrickson is an Associate Professor of Adult Health and Public Health Nursing. Her research is focused on underserved, Spanish-speaking populations. Current research is aimed at reducing childhood injury and improving parental home safety behaviors. Dr. Hendrickson's work originates from 35 years experience including Peace Corps, neuroscience nursing and education.

Dr. Hendrickson was the recipient of the 2004 Alumni Award for research and the Faculty Writing Award in 2006 at The University of Texas School of Nursing, for Non-tenure track. She has enjoys working with Undergraduate Research Fellow nursing students.
