Biography
Dr. Johnson received her BA in Sociology from Colorado State University, her BS in Nursing from the University of Colorado, Denver and her PhD in Nursing from the University of Minnesota. Her research interests focus on promoting resilience and healthy behaviors among underserved youth and addressing social risk factors (e.g., poverty, adverse childhood experiences) that result in disparate levels of health risk behaviors among young people.
