BIOGRAPHY

In her current role, Ms. Murphey works as an Assistant Clinical Instructor of Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin. She is also a full time doctoral student.

She is active in several professional organizations including Texas Nurses Association District 5 (TNA D-5) where she serves as President-Elect. She has also worked for Texas Nurses Association (TNA) on the state level where she served as Information Coordinator for the Nurse Friendly project. Ms. Murphey is a member of Sigma Theta tau International (STTI) Honor Society of Nursing and the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).

In addition to working as an Assistant Clinical Instructor and full time doctoral student, Ms. Murphey works as a School Nurse for the University of Texas Elementary School (UTE). Christina is also a member of the National Association of School Nurses (NASN).
