Ms. O’Day is a clinical nurse specialist in community health. Ms. O’Day’s clinical practice includes thirteen years at the Texas Department of Health, in a variety of programs and roles including contract management with local health departments, strategic planning with the Texas Board of Health, legislative/policy work, and as Director of Health Services and Quality for the Medicaid Managed Care Program. Her clinical practice includes health care consultant services for HMOs, government agencies and universities. In addition, Ms. O’Day has worked at a director level in managed care organizations.
