Tenure-Track Position

The School of Nursing invites applicants for tenure-track and professional track/clinical positions.

Rank dependent upon qualifications and experience. Candidates for Assistant Professor must hold an earned doctorate. Successful candidates are expected to teach, develop and/or maintain a research program, and provide service to the university, the community and the profession. New faculty members are connected with faculty mentors who will provide guidance on issues pertaining to classroom instruction, program curricula, and course development. The Center for Teaching and Learning conducts workshops and provides consultation to faculty on course management, test development, and instructional techniques. New faculty are also provided start-up packages to launch their research and have access to the Cain Center for Nursing Research, which provides consultative services for faculty, and the St. David’s Center for Health Promotion & Disease Prevention Research in Underserved Populations, which provides pilot study funding and avenues for interdisciplinary collaboration.
