Learning Center Computer Lab/Instructional Resource Center

Welcome to the Computer Laboratory and Media Library. This area of the Learning Center provides internet ready student use computers,  an audiovisual collection of videos and DVDs, anatomy models, clinical equipment checkout, laptop checkout, a reserve collection of textbooks and course materials, and online research help. There are three preview/study rooms, a copying machine, and a poster cabinet. Film rental and preview are also available for the faculty.

Nursing Online Resources and Research

The librarian provides help in searching online databases such as CINAHL and MEDLINE,  in finding full text online journal articles, and in finding other online nursing resources. Search her Nursing Online Resources and Research page for help in the research area.

Audiovisual Collection

The Learning Center has a collection of several hundred videocassettes, DVDs, and CDs.   They are located behind the Reserve Desk and can be checked out for building use.  An online  listing of the collection by subject  can be found by clicking on the Audiovisual Collection Link above.

Computer Services

The School of Nursing Learning Center provides various computer services for students and faculty including over thirty internet-ready PCs, a fully equipped computer classroom, printers, scanner, computer literacy courses, and a supportive and knowledgeable staff.
