The Alumni Network represents all alumni of the School of Nursing and exists to promote and strengthen the mission of the School, promote mutually beneficial relationships between the School of Nursing, its alumni, students, and communities, represent the School within the communities and professional environments to which the membership belongs, and work with the School to recruit and support students. We are strengthening our alumni network and welcome your involvement.

  • Develop a Lifelong Tie to The School of Nursing: Connect to former graduates and classmates.
  • Career Direction and Mentorship in your Select Field:  Talk to alumni in your field, seek advice, shadow a nurse, get assistance in determining your field of specialty, seek potential employment opportunities in your area.
  • Alumni Acknowledgement: Commend and praise our nurses who excel in their field and highlight career achievements and advancements through the Alumni Network Honor a Nurse Program and Distinguished Alumni award.
  • Program Development and Events: Work to develop educational opportunities, programs, and social events. Help us create unity and link alumni together so that no matter where you live, you feel connected to UT.
  • Strengthen and Promote The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing:  Stay involved and participate in philanthropic activities that will help provide scholarships for students or support one of our community outreach centers such as the Children’s Wellness Center or Family Wellness Center.
  • Communication: Check out the E-Newsletter and The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing Alumni Network web site, Facebook page and Nurses Lounge page which provide alumni with up to date information on the School of Nursing.
