Blackboard and E-Reserve

Blackboard

Blackboard is a web-based communication tool that students and faculty use to view and submit course material, send and receive individual and group emails, and post and view course grades. Students and faculty access Blackboard using their UT EID and password. If you experience problems with Blackboard, please contact the ITS Help Desk at 475-9400 or online by submitting a help request.

E-Reserve

E-Reserve materials, which may be books, articles, chapters, sample tests, homework solutions, videos, CDs, DVDs, etc., are course-related materials chosen by faculty for students in their classes. Any instructor teaching a course for The University of Texas at Austin may place materials on electronic reserves, or on physical reserves in one of 12 campus libraries, for students to obtain and review. You can search E-Reserve using a course number, course title, course instructor, or department.
