UT Blackboard System (Bb) Information

How Do I Access Blackboard?

1. Go to Blackboard.
2. Click the Login button. Unless it has been more than 30 minutes since you logged in to UT Direct, you will not be prompted again for your UT EID and password. If you
   are prompted, simply type them in again.

OR

1. From the UT Direct homepage, scroll down until you see a box labeled Related
   Categories and Services on the right side (may be elsewhere if you changed the
   layout of your UT Direct page).
2. Under Computing and Technology click on the link labeled Blackboard.
3. Follow step 2 above.

The courses for which you have registered will be in a list. If you have not yet registered or you registered in the last 24 hours, you may not have access to Bb. Remember: you must have money in your BEVO account to print at School.

TIP: Add Blackboard to your Favorites/Bookmarks to make it more easily accessible.

For PC:

1. Go to http://courses.utexas.edu.
2. Click the Favorites button on your internet browser.
3. Next click Add. Name the favorite Blackboard and click OK.

Next time you want to access this Favorite, click the Favorites button and click Blackboard.

For MAC:

1. Go to http://courses.utexas.edu.
2. Click Bookmarks at the top of the screen
3. Click Add Bookmark
4. Name the bookmark Blackboard.
5. Choose where to keep it. Choose Bookmark Bar to have your bookmark conveniently displayed on the internet browser bar.

Next time you want to access this bookmark click the Blackboard button on your internet
browser.
