Army Nurse Corps/Army ROTC Scholarships at The University of Texas at Austin

The Army Reserve Officer's Training Corps (ROTC) and the UT Austin School of Nursing have agreed to sponsor the Partnership in Nursing Education Program. This program allows a nursing student to enroll in the Army ROTC program and receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps. Additionally, nursing students are eligible for full Army ROTC scholarship benefits while attaining their degree.

Financial Benefits - Students who receive 2, 3, and 4 year scholarships receive:

  1. Full Tuition: up to $17,000 per year.
  2. Books and Classroom supplies: $1200 per year ($600 per semester)
  3. $250 a month tax-free stipend, during the freshman school year
  4. $300 a month for freshman, $350 a month for sophomores, $450 a month for juniors, and $500 a month for seniors
  5. All nurse-specific specialty supplies required by the Nursing School
