Office of Student Financial Services

The Office of Student Financial Services (OSFS) offers various forms of financial assistance to students attending The University of Texas at Austin. The OSFS offers two types of financial aid awards: (1) gift aid, which includes grants and scholarships, and (2) self-help aid, which includes the College Work-Study Program and long-term loans. Most financial aid awarded through this office is based solely on documented financial need. To apply for financial aid, students must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available from the Office of Student Financial Services. Applications must be submitted each year the student seeks financial aid.
