Scholarship SupportThe Dr. Joy Penticuff, RN Endowed Scholarship in NursingThe Dr. Joy Penticuff, RN Endowed Scholarship in Nursing was created to honor Joy H. Penticuff, PhD, RN, FAAN, and the many contributions she has made to The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing over the past 33 years. A member of the UT Academy of Distinguished Teachers, Dr. Penticuff has spent her career teaching undergraduate and graduate bioethics and research. She will be retiring in May 2008, and the school will greatly miss her leadership, mentorship and friendship. Reflecting her commitment to her students, the Dr. Joy Penticuff, RN Endowed Scholarship in Nursing will benefit undergraduate students with financial need. You may also download a contribution form (PDF Format) and mail it to: Director of Development Annual Giving ProgramThe Annual Giving Program is sustained by alumni and friends who renew their support annually. The Annual Fund is used to provide emergency financial support for students, support student travel to state and national conferences, and support for student activities and Learning Center, and pledges and payments may be made by printing a gift form or by credit card online. Planned Giving/Estate ProvisionsEvery individual who makes a gift to The University of Texas at Austin plays an important role in making it one of the best public universities in the world. The generosity of all donors, no matter the size of their gifts, sustains a tradition of excellence at UT that benefits all Texans. Private support creates opportunities for bright students, makes possible research that improves the quality of life, and enables the University to serve the state and nation with pride. Today, there are exciting and creative ways to leave a legacy to UT and at the same time provide for family. Outright Gifts/EndowmentsGifts can be made with cash, securities and other such assets. If you would like to make a cash gift to the School, you may send it to: The University of Texas at Austin To make gifts of stock to the School, contact Charlotte Hambrick, Associate Director of Gift Planning Services for the UT System, (512) 499-4346. Creating an endowment requires a minimum donation of $25K. Establishing an endowment means your generosity will support the School every year. Endowment size is unlimited, but as stated before, the minimum donation is $25K. All endowments may be named according to the donor's wishes.
