Study Skills Workshops for Nursing Students - Fall 2009

The Learning Enhancement Services program offers free study skills workshops on a variety of topics designed to help you improve skills important to success in the School of Nursing. Any UT Nursing student may attend these workshops.

Note: Registration is strongly recommended. Please complete the online registration form to register for the workshops.

Time Management & Goals

Learn techniques and strategies to help you create a time management system that works for you. We will talk about how to overcome procrastination and set SMART goals. The same information is discussed at each of the following sessions. Please select one.

Active learning incorporates all aspects of critical thinking. Strengthen existing study skills by understanding the Levels of Learning involved in critical thinking. Coping with Stress

Learn some relaxation and stress reduction techniques to help you cope effectively during the semester.

A Brown Bag Series Presentation - No Registration is required. Just drop in and bring your lunch and your questions. Everyone is welcome. The Coping with Stress brown bag sessions will take place from 12-1 p.m. Meetings will be in NUR 5.102C on the following dates:
