Rebeca Treviño has been an educator and a social activist on both sides of the Texas/Mexican border; director of an award-winning children’s dance company and a folkloric dancer herself; founding member and two-term chair of the UT Hispanic Faculty/Staff Association and a graduate of the prestigious program “Leadership Austin”.
Rebeca Treviño joined the UT School of Nursing in 1998 and she is currently a member of the UT Provost Council on Academic Advising.

Irene Arredondo has been the Senior Office Assistant and certified Medical Interpreter for the Children’s Wellness Center for the past nine years. She enjoys working with families and their children to improve their health, education, and welfare.
For the past several years, she has also done volunteer work at the Volunteer Health Clinic in Austin where she recently received the President’s Volunteer Service Award. She has worked with the Austin/Travis County Health and Human Services Department with the School Link/School Based clinics, and received a community Outstanding Collaboration Award with the Hepatitis B Campaign Team. She previously did community outreach as a VISTA volunteer for three years with the Texas Department of Health.

Peter Hancock has been the MultiMedia Studio Manager for UT School of Nursing for the past four years. He got his start with the University as the Senior Video Technician for UT School of Law after graduating from UT with his bachelors degree in Radio-Tv-Film.
Peter enjoys helping faculty, staff, and students with the ever expanding role of educational technology and distance learning. Please join us in wishing kudos for a job well done.
