If you’re like a great number of other University of Texas students, the answer is actually “yes.”

Though their schedules are chock full, many UT graduate students participate in some kind of community outreach or volunteerism, and many others say that they would like to, but aren’t sure where to start.

If you are interested in getting more involved in the Austin community, there are abundant opportunities both on campus and around the city. From tutoring elementary school students to volunteering with animals to repairing a roof on a Saturday, there are ways to help in whatever field you choose.
