Application Status Check

The Graduate and International Admissions Center provides an application status check called "My Status" to track the receipt of credentials sent to its office. You will need your UT EID and password to access this service. You will not be able to check the status of your admission file prior to submitting the ApplyTexas online application and receiving the acknowledgement email with your EID and temporary password.

Check My Status often.This will be the only way you will know if items are missing from your file.

Online applications take 1-2 full business days to appear on this status check. During peak processing times, we receive hundreds of documents by post and electronically each day. Mail is processed as quickly as possible but due to the extremely high volume it may take from 7 to 21 working days for your documents to be loaded onto our computer system. Please allow an appropriate amount of time to pass before expecting to see these credentials on the status check web site.

Credentials are stamped with the date on which they are received by the Graduate and International Admissions Center and will be considered "on time" if this date meets your application deadline.

Use your UT EID and password to log in to My Status to complete the following tasks:

  • Find out which items are needed to complete your admission application and which items have arrived.
  • Pay your application fee or request a fee exemption.
  • Learn your admission decision as soon as it is made.

Important to Know

The web status check may not report on the status of items that you should have sent directly to the graduate program (i.e., letters of reference and essays).
