Most importantly, the majority of the Graduate School's local funds to support graduate fellowships are now part of a decentraized award decision process. Graduate advisers and graduate coordinators submit nominations for fellowships using the Graduate School Online Awards System that can be accessed from EASI. Note: If you cannot find the link in EASI, you can trying linking directly to the “GCD Grad School Fellowships” page in EASI. If you are not allowed access there, you are not authorized. Graduate coordinators contact Shannon Neuse in GIAC for authorization and graduate advisers or GSC chairs contact Gwen Barton in the Graduate School for their authorization.

The Graduate School has developed a tutorial for advisers and coordinators that describes the online system. For Named Continuing Fellowship nominations, portions must be completed by the nominees. We have a separate tutorial for nominated students to prepare them for completing their part of the online nomination. Nominated students receive an email which will provide them with the link to the online awards system where they can supply their information and provide contact information for three references. Note: The nominations can be submitted by the graduate adviser before all the reference letters are in.
