HELEN KIM has served as Graduate
Coordinator in Microbiology since 2002 and is frequently cited for her organizational
skills, initiative, dedication, and enthusiasm. Her position encompasses many responsibilities,
including recruiting, interviewing, advising, Web design, English tutoring,
and event planning. Helen's efforts and positive attitude foster
a sense of community and camaraderie among Microbiology graduate students,
from the first contact students have with the Microbiology graduate office
to their graduation day.
