Outstanding Graduate Coordinator

JUDY CLACK has served as Graduate Coordinator
for the graduate programs in Studio Art, Art Education, and Design in the
Department of Art and Art History since 2000. She coordinates the activities
of each of these graduate programs and is known for her proficiency and effectiveness.
Judy's areas of responsibility range from processing applications to
administering the teaching assistant program. She is credited with
streamlining communication and developing innovative procedures and forms
to simplify complex processes for both students and faculty. At the
same time, those who interact with her describe her as a generous, compassionate,
and caring colleague and friend. Students in particular appreciate
her warm reception and unfailing patience with their inquires, commenting
that Judy's advice, encouragement, and personal attention are major
reasons they chose to come to the university.
