Michael H. Granof Outstanding Graduate
Student Award
The Granof Outstanding Graduate Student Award was established in 2008 to recognize a graduate student of exceptional distinction. The award includes a $10,000 prize, which is presented at the Graduate School/University Co-op Awards Banquet in the spring. The University Co-op very generously underwrites the prizes for this award and all of the Graduate School awards each year.
Criteria for selection include: scholastic achievement at the highest level, creative contributions beyond degree or departmental requirements, commitment to diversity, and exceptional service to UT Austin.
Each graduate program may nominate only one doctoral student for the award.
