The Granof Outstanding Graduate Student Award was established in 2008 to recognize a graduate student of exceptional distinction. The award is $10,000.
Criteria for selection include: scholastic achievement at the highest level, creative contributions beyond degree or departmental requirements, commitment to diversity, and exceptional service to UT Austin.
If you would like your student to be considered for the Granof Outstanding Graduate Student Award, please complete the Outstanding Graduate Student nomination form (.pdf) (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or newer - download free Reader). Nominations will be accepted from the program Graduate Adviser OR the Graduate Studies Committee Chair. Each graduate program may nominate only one doctoral student for the award.
As with all of the Graduate School awards, the Michael H. Granof Outstanding Graduate Student award is very generously underwritten by the University Co-op.
