When registering for classes you need to consider dates you may register, your degree and course load requirements, how to remove registration bars, how to add or drop a course, and find other information and policies related to registration matters. You also may be registering late or changing your major. Check out these registration resources and policies.
Make sure you pay your tuition and fee bills by the required dates and remember that even if you have a zero bill you must still confirm your registration by the stated deadline. If you are in your final semester of graduate school you will also need to register for thesis, report or dissertation. (See Deadlines and Forms below.)
The university implements policies regarding registration and other academic concerns. Official policies can be found in the Graduate Catalog and other official documents, such as the General Information Catalog and the Handbook of Operating Procedures. We have a list of policies specific to graduate students along with links to forms that you will find helpful as you navigate the administrative requirements of graduate school.
This list provides links to deadlines for both master's and doctoral students. Print the instructions for the semester you will be completing your degree requirements so you don't miss any of the deadlines or requirements to graduate. We have provided a list of forms (both required and optional) you may need during your enrollment at UT. See the complete list of Deadlines and Forms.
