Ford Foundation Predoctoral and Dissertation Fellowship
Through its Fellowship Programs, the Ford Foundation seeks to increase the diversity of the nation’s college and university faculties by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity, to maximize the educational benefits of diversity, and to increase the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students.
Eligibility:
Predoctoral fellowships and dissertation fellowships will be awarded to citizens
or nationals of the U.S.
Application Deadline:
November 1
Stipend:
Each predoctoral fellowship includes an annual stipend of $12,000. The fellowship
institution will receive $6,000 for tuition and fees. Support is provided
for up to three years provided the fellow makes satisfactory progress toward
the degree.
