Dr. Tommy Darwin
This workshop provides a framework and a process for converting the dissertation into articles and/or books. It will cover topics including how to balance publishing and writing the dissertation while still a graduate stud net, as well as how to use work while one is a graduate student to "set up" work as a professional. Knowing how the dissertation will be "translated" into publications can make the dissertation process itself much more focused and productive. Although the workshop is focused on doctoral students, its lessons apply equally well to all graduate students. This workshop is developed from Dr. Darwin's course 390W: Dissertation, Grantwriting, Publishing.
