The Powers Graduate Fellowship
The Focus
Recruiting the best students to UT Austin and providing dissertation support to students in their final year.
Our goal at The University of Texas at Austin is to partner with our community, alumni and friends to build a bridge between our students' minds and the discoveries of tomorrow.
About the Fellowship
The Powers Graduate Fellowship Program was created in 2009 from a generous donation through the Foundation for Global Sports Development via Dr. Steven Ungerleider. The Powers Graduate Fellowships are among the most prestigious fellowships awarded by the Graduate School, providing a financial incentive package totaling $36,000 over a twelve-month period. Students who receive one of these fellowships are considered to be among the most academically competitive scholars on our campus.
