Adam M. Crook


Adam is known for his engineering talent, which is both driven and creative, and for his aspirations of being a tenured professor. He has focused his graduate engineering research on an area of electronic engineering that could lead to promising advances. Much of his research looks at fundamental material science, and as this application is brought to realization, his goal is to greatly increase the efficiency of light emitting devices (LEDs) used for solid state lighting. The breakthroughs that Adam has already made through his research are enabling the enhancement of optical devices, as well as the demonstration of complex plasmonic devices, developments previously not achieved in research.
