| Description: | The Blanton, in collaboration with Creative Time, the New York public art initiative, presents an informal conversation with artists Rodney McMillian and Olga Koumoundouros in the museum's Meredith eLounge. The Los Angeles based artists will be joined by Ursula Davila-Villa (Blanton interim curator of Latin American art) and Nato Thompson (curator for Creative Time) for a discussion on "News from the Mime's Thud," a performance piece that focuses on the complex issues of the death penalty in the US, to be held in Austin at various locations on June 5. This project is a part of the exhibition Democracy in America, organized by Creative Time.
