The Tower at The University of Texas at Austin will be lighted orange Tuesday evening (May 6) to celebrate the success of the UT Tennis Club.
The club was crowned national champions at the 2008 United States Tennis Association National Campus Championships held April 17-19 at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.
The Longhorns defeated the University of California, Berkeley 22-16 in the championship match.
The Longhorns have advanced to the championship match five times (2000-02, 2005 and 2008), and this year clinched the national title for the first time.
