| Description: | The Shakespeare at Winedale Program's 2008 Summer Class will perform "Romeo and Juliet," "The Merchant of Venice" and "Antony and Cleopatra" in the Winedale Theatre Barn.
For 38 years, Shakespeare at Winedale (a University of Texas program) has drawn students with different cultural and academic backgrounds from universities around the United States and the world. This year's season features the timeless romance, "Romeo and Juliet," the complex tragicomedy "The Merchant of Venice" and the passionate epic, "Antony and Cleopatra." For reservations, visit our online ticketing site, www.shakespeare-winedale.org. Tickets are $10, $5 for students.
Shakespeare at Winedale has now expanded to include year-round activities, including special programs for younger children such as Camp Shakespeare (performances at the Winedale Theatre Barn on June 21 and July 12 at 1 p.m.) and our Educational Outreach Program.
