Synchronize

Synchronizing the OnCampus calendar to your home or office computer calendar can help you stay up to date on the latest events happening around the university.

If you have an iCalendar compatible program (iCal, Outlook, Google Calendar….) choose one or all of the six OnCampus sub-calendars below to synchronize with your program and new events on the calendar will automatically be added to your personal calendar. To download a static iCalendar version of these calendars, use the second set of links (http://).

Outlook 2003 & iCalendar files

An open source application named "Remote Calendars" extends iCalendar support to Outlook 2003 email clients. Although the Office of Public Affairs cannot provide support for this third-party software, we encourage you to read more about it at the website below. If you are having difficulty synchronizing your copy of Outlook 2003 with the OnCampus event calendars, this application might be right for you.

Apple's iCal & iCalendar files

Apple's iCal can be used to quickly synchronize with the OnCampus Event Calendars. The six sub-calendars linked above that are prefixed with "webcal://" should be recognized by iCal automatically. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the synchronization. If the links are not recognized, follow these steps to subscribe:

1) Open iCal and choose "Subscribe" under the "Calendar" menu option.
2) Copy one of the "http://" prefixed links from above into the form field and click "Subscribe"
3) Follow the subsequent on-screen prompts to complete the synchronization.

* To unsubscribe at any time, simply right click (control-click) on the newly added calendar and choose "Delete"
