Amy E. Armstrong, Archivist
Armstrong is an archivist in the Archives and Visual Materials Cataloging Department and has processed many collections at the Ransom Center, including the papers of Sanora Babb, William Faulkner, Paul Schrader, and Denis Johnson.

Megan Barnard, Deputy to the Director for Administration and Acquisitions
Barnard works closely with the Director on a variety of aspects related to the Center’s administration—from acquisitions to publications to programming—and serves as a speechwriter and general writer and editor. Barnard is editor and co-author of Collecting the Imagination: The First Fifty Years of the Ransom Center.

Anna Chen, Public Services Intern
Chen is an intern in the Office of the Associate Librarian, where she provides general support for Ransom Center programs and services. She is also a graduate student in the School of Information at The University of Texas at Austin.

Nicole Davis, Assistant Archivist
Davis works in the archives department with both visual materials and manuscripts. She works on a variety of photography cataloging projects and is currently processing the papers of 20th-century lawyer Morris L. Ernst.

Alicia Dietrich, Public Affairs Representative
Dietrich edits the biannual print newsletter Ransom Edition and monthly email newsletter eNews; promotes exhibitions and public programs; produces press releases; and works with media.

Kevin Endres, Library Assistant
Endres works as a library assistant in the reading room, where he pages books for patrons and assists with two cataloging projects. He interned at the Ransom Center as an undergraduate and spent his time assisting the curation of several exhibits.

Micah Erwin, Project Archivist
Micah is a project archivist in the Archives and Visual Materials Cataloging Department. He has processed the Herschel family papers and has volunteered in the conservation and book cataloging departments. He is currently processing the Commentary Magazine archive and in his spare time he practices paleography and volunteers on a project to catalog medieval manuscripts fragments in the Ransom Center collections.

Elana Estrin, Public Affairs
Estrin is a features writer at the Ransom Center where she writes newsletter articles, blog posts, Q&As, press releases, and works with the media. She is also a Huffington Post blogger and has written about the arts and culture for The Jerusalem Post, The Strad magazine, The Forward, and The Daily Texan. Arcadia Falcone, Public Services Intern
Falcone is a Public Services Intern in the Office of the Associate Librarian. She is also a graduate student in the School of Information at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on archives and digital collections.

Francisca Folch, Public Services Intern
Folch is an intern in the Office of the Associate Librarian, where she provides general support for Ransom Center programs and services. She is also a graduate student in the Program in Comparative Literature at The University of Texas at Austin.

Kelsey Harmon, Intern in English and American Literature
Harmon is an intern assisting in the curation of gallery and web exhibitions. She is also a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, where she studies English, History, and Spanish.

Mary Alice Harper, Photographic Archivist
Harper supervises cataloging of the Ransom Center’s photographic collections, from single prints to collective archives. She works closely with both the Cataloging and the Photography Departments to determine processing priorities and assist with collection management.

Jennifer Hecker, Project Archivist
Hecker has worked on many collections at the Ransom Center, including the papers of Norman Mailer and David Mamet. She is currently processing the Morris L. Ernst papers.

Cathy Henderson, Associate Director for Exhibitions and Fleur Cowles Executive Curator
Henderson has held a number of positions at the Harry Ransom Center, including research librarian and associate librarian for manuscripts public service. In her current position as associate director, she oversees the planning and development of exhibitions at the Ransom Center.

Ryan Hildebrand, Head of Book Cataloging
Hildebrand manages the operations of the Book Cataloging Department and contributes to Ransom Center curatorial efforts.

Bethany Johnsen, Undergraduate Intern
Johnsen is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in English and Philosophy. Her focus is on the influence of eighteenth-century British moral philosophy on the gothic novel.

Christine Lee, Director of Marketing
Lee manages marketing and membership initiatives at the Ransom Center, which includes branding, graphic design, advertising, and promotional partnerships. She also assists with the visitor services volunteer program.

Kelsey McKinney, Public Affairs Intern
McKinney is currently a sophomore at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Plan II Honors. She focuses her degree around English Literature, Italian Language, and Art History.

Peter Mears, Associate Curator of Art
Mears oversees a collection of artwork from the Americas, Asia and Europe. He works with staff in all departments to provide patrons access to the art collection and serves as a liaison to faculty and students in the University’s Department of Art and Art History.

Io Montecillo, Public Affairs Intern
Io is currently a junior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in both Religious Studies and Plan II Honors. His studies are focused on the religions of Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.

Jill Morena, Collection Assistant for Costumes and Personal Effects
Morena joined the Ransom Center in 2003. Her current appointment as Collection Assistant for Costumes and Personal Effects involves research, cataloging, collection management, and public service.

Jacqueline Muñoz, Librarian
Muñoz works in the Cataloging Department mainly with books, both contemporary and rare, but also with media, both current and obsolete. Some of her time is spent reading up-and-coming authors in hopes of discovering new talent to add to the Ransom Center’s book collection.

Richard W. Oram, Associate Director and Hobby Foundation Librarian
Oram is responsible for the Center’s collections and public services operations and is curator of the book collection. He has written more than 25 articles related to library history and nineteenth- and twentieth-century British literature.

Rachel Platis, Undergraduate Intern
Platis is a graduating senior earning degrees in Plan II Liberal Arts and multimedia journalism. Her work has focused on integrating arts and culture with technology and she will go on to work for Texas Instruments in Dallas.

Lisa Pulsifer, Associate Curator of Academic Programs
Pulsifer’s responsibilities at the Ransom Center include event management, tours and teacher programs, and volunteer management.

Gabriela Redwine, Archivist and Electronic Records/Metadata Specialist
Redwine is responsible for processing paper and born-digital collections, developing policies and procedures for the Ransom Center’s born-digital preservation program, and maintaining Encoded Archival Description versions of the Center’s finding aids.

Courtney Reed, Public Affairs Intern
Courtney is currently a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Plan II Honors and English, with a concentration in classical and pre-16th century English literature.

Margie Rine, Associate Director for Development
Rine is chair of the Center’s grant committee and coordinates proposals to federal and state agencies, foundations, and corporations. She serves as a staff liaison to the Advisory Council’s exhibitions committee, and is a member of the American Association of Museums.

Molly Schwartzburg, Curator of British and American Literature
Schwartzburg works with staff in all departments throughout the Ransom Center to develop, maintain, and interpret literary holdings in all media; she also assists faculty, students, and remote and visiting scholars with their research and teaching in the book and manuscript collections.

Danielle Brune Sigler, Curator of Academic Affairs
Sigler coordinates academic programming and fellowships at the Ransom Center. Her research interests include African American history and culture and American religious history. She is co-editor of The New Black Gods.

Bob Taylor, Archivist
Taylor has worked at the Ransom Center as a rare book cataloger and, presently, as a manuscripts archivist. He has processed the papers of Peter Glenville, James Jones, and Lillian Hellman, among others.

Jennifer Tisdale, Public Affairs Director
At the Ransom Center, Tisdale is responsible for identifying, planning, and implementing strategic public affairs activities and programs that range from media relations to social media at the Ransom Center.

Maria Weber, Cataloger
Weber is a serials cataloger in the Book Cataloging Department currently processing the Texas Sueltas collection and the George MacBeth Library serials among others.

Steve Wilson, Associate Curator of Film
Wilson has worked in the Center’s film collection since 1992 and as an Associate Curator since 2002. In that capacity he has negotiated the acquisition of several archives including the Robert De Niro collection. He has served as curator or co-curator for five exhibitions at the Ransom Center and as project director on four film preservation projects funded by the National Film Preservation Foundation. Wilson has also produced or co-produced several web exhibitions for the Ransom Center, most recently The Mike Wallace Interviews, which presents the complete video of more than 60 of Wallace’s interviews with notable figures from the late 1950s.
