Client: College of Communication College of Fine Arts Office of Public Affairs Office of Public Affairs The Office ofTechnology Commercialization Project: In order to combat the disorganized look and lack of information of their old Web site, designers aimed to solidify a single tone and find an identity for the new Communication site. The site now features Events, Research and News sections headed by the new arc logo, wordmark and consistent coloring. Like a work of art, the College of Fine Arts new Web site beautifully captures the imagination and a sense of wonderment. Full-screen, black-and-white photos provide a stunning backdrop for the college’s new wordmark and the colorful thumbnail links to the information within the site. First-Year Student Journals - 2003 CASE Award Winner, 2003 SXSW Web Finalist. Six first-year students share their thoughts, fears and dreams in a series of online journals and reflections for all to read. Blending black-and-white photos and color rollovers gives this site life and personality, much like the stories within. Take Five - These video snapshots from university faculty offer a glimpse into lecture halls and labs across campus. Take Five offers viewers the experience of academic life. The Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) supports the research and public service missions of the university. The Web site's goal is to show the value of the OTC by featuring current projects and outstanding inventors. |
