BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Jensen is the co-founder and Director of Research for the University of Texas Autism Project (UTAP). UTAP is a research and community outreach program focusing on services, knowledge, and best practices related to living, and working, with families touched by autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Dr. Jensen?s research has long focused on the acquisition of skill and changes in movement competence from infancy through older adulthood. Current research emphasizes the role of sensorimotor integration and movement experience in modifying cognition in special populations with a special emphasis in autism.
