BIOGRAPHY
Mary Lou Adams is interested in women's health issues in particular breast cancer screening. She has been the coordinator of the breast and cervical cancer control program for the School of Nursing for the past eight years and is project director of a state-wide initiative funded by the Texas Cancer Council to develop a community-based model for breast cancer screening outreach and case management services for African American women.
