BIOGRAPHY
Professor Perry specializes in the U.S. Supreme Court, constitutional interpretation, and the intersection of law and politics. His works in progress include a study of decision making in the U.S. Department of Justice. He has been a member of the faculty at Harvard University and Washington University in St. Louis. He is the director of the combined JD/Ph.D. program in the Department of Government and Law School.

"Deciding to Decide" won the Wilson Prize from the Board of Syndics of the Harvard Press and the C. Herman Pritchett Award from the American Political Science Association
