BIOGRAPHY

Ian Duncan came to the University of Texas at Austin in 2004, serving as Associate Director and Research Scientist of the Bureau of Economic Geology until 2010. For 10 years, Duncan worked as Scientist Manager at the Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals, and Energy Division of Mineral Resources. As a geology professor, Ian taught at SMU, Dallas, and Washington University, St. Louis. He is currently manager of the Bureau?s Gulf Coast Carbon Center.
